Owen SterlingA dead person coming back to life is a dream of the brain attempting to re-establish a connection with something that was thought to be finished. This process of the mind seeks to find a way to integrate a lost element or a concluded chapter back into the active, living current of the present.
The mechanism of this dream involves the retrieval of old material to see if it can still serve a purpose in the current environment. When the mind brings back what was gone, it is often testing the viability of an old idea, a feeling, or a memory to see if it can be utilized once more. A difficulty arises if the mind finds itself unable to let go of what has already passed. There is a possibility of being pulled back into an old way of being that has already served its time. The dream offers a way to look at what remains of what was lost.
A dead person waking up or coming alive suggests a more active, sudden shift in how the mind handles a previous conclusion. This movement indicates that a state of dormancy is ending, which changes the dream from a simple retrieval into a more immediate confrontation with a sudden change.
The state of a dead person being alive implies a more stable, settled reintegration of the past. Finding that the figure exists in a living state suggests the mind is settling into a reality that was once thought to be gone.
When the dream involves dead people coming back to life or seeing them alive, the scope moves from the individual to the collective. This indicates that the brain is sorting through wider social ties or a larger history rather than a single isolated thought.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
