Owen SterlingA house flooding happens when the walls that hold a life together are breached by an overflow of feeling. The brain uses this image to signal that the structures used to contain daily life are no longer sufficient to hold back what is rising.
The presence of such an overflow suggests that the current methods of maintaining equilibrium are under pressure. There is a risk that the fundamental sense of self or the domestic sphere becomes disorganized when these surges are not acknowledged. A measured approach to these shifts remains possible if the rising tides are seen. The dreamer finds that the capacity to adapt is already present within the existing framework of life.
An ocean flooding a house brings the weight of a great fate or an immense, inevitable path into the most private areas of life. The vastness of the water moves the dream away from a simple spill of emotion and toward a massive shift in existence that requires the dreamer to rebuild how they live.
Raining inside the house or rain flooding the house turns the external descent of weather into an internal event. This detail indicates that the source of the renewal or the disruption is not coming from a distant event, but is already permeating the most private layers of existence.
A house flooded with sewage water changes the nature of the inundation to show how long-ignored or unpleasant matters have become too heavy to contain.
Water flooding a house or a flood entering the house focuses the dream on the movement of what sustains a person into the space of the self. The entry of the liquid marks the exact moment where the external environment begins to claim the space once reserved for stability.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
