Owen SterlingA lizard falling from the ceiling appears when the mind is processing a sudden instability in a previously secure environment. A boundary that once felt reliable now reveals a hidden source of irritation or small-scale betrayal. The brain uses this imagery to alert the dreamer to a shift where a perceived safety is actually masking a subtle, unsettling presence.
The loss of footing described in the dream occurs because the structural integrity of a situation is being questioned. When the descent is experienced, the stability of a social or professional position is compromised by an unexpected movement. This process of falling shows where the foundations of a current situation are no longer as solid as they seemed. The realization of this instability is a way for the mind to prepare for a necessary realignment.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
