Owen SterlingA public toilet appears in a dream as a site for the shedding of burdens in an exposed setting. This image serves the brain’s need to process the act of discarding what has become superfluous or obstructive to the current state of being. The brain uses such a setting to rehearse the vulnerability that accompanies the release of internal pressures.
The dreamer faces the reality of being seen while attempting to let go of what is no longer required. Being visible while performing such a private task brings the threat of being observed or found wanting. The dream provides a space to navigate the tension between personal necessity and public perception. The weight leaves the body when the release is finished.
A clean environment in a dream of a public restroom or a public bathroom suggests that the easing of internal tension is happening without the interference of chaos or shame. The orderliness of the space suggests that the psychological shedding of weight is occurring without the interference of chaos or shame.
Pooping in a public toilet in a dream shows the body and mind working to cast out what is no longer of use. This action marks the point where the dreamer moves toward a lighter state by removing what has become heavy.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
