A robin bird appears in a dream as a sign of emerging optimism and the arrival of positive developments. The brain uses this image to signal that a time of stillness is yielding to something active.
The presence of this bird suggests that the dreamer is encountering the first indications of a favorable shift in circumstances. This process of mental consolidation often occurs when a person is becoming aware of potential successes that are still in their infancy. The dream leaves the person with a sense that progress is real.
The sight of a dead robin in a dream changes the verdict from one of hope to one of loss regarding an opportunity that failed to launch. This image shows that a chance for something good has ended before it could truly begin.
The act of holding a robin in a dream intensifies the connection to the incoming news by making the potential for happiness something that is felt or managed directly. This detail suggests that the dreamer is currently in a position to grasp or protect the small, early advantages that are presenting themselves.
For its more general meaning: Dream about a bird
There was so much more to this dream, but this last part sticks out the most. I saw a wounded (or dead) robin on a white stoneware round dinner plate. (These are actual plates I use at home). It’s wing had a huge wound on it… I was up higher, looking down upon it. It really startled me!!
You are warmly welcomed Elizabeth,
Your dream is an evidence for loneliness, situation and childishness. This dream symbolises that you feel like you want to hide from the world and be left alone for awhile. You are afraid of getting close to some relationship or situation. You are behaving childish or immaturely.
May your dreams continue to offer comfort and guidance.
