Owen SterlingA school shooting in a dream occurs as the brain works through a sudden burst of directed anger or an unexpected breach in social peace. This dream arises when the mind sorts through public shock or the feeling that a structured environment has been broken by conflict.
The internal mechanism of this dream often functions to rehearse the impact of a sudden, unprovoked strike against communal stability. The dreamer may feel vulnerable where the usual rules of order no longer apply. Intense instability is present. The dream provides a way to acknowledge the existence of such disruptions without the reality of their consequences.
The dreamer finds a way of escaping a school shooting in a dream, which shifts the focus from the shock of the event to the capacity for navigation. Finding a path out of the danger shows that the mind is actively managing the threat instead of being paralyzed by it.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
