Owen SterlingA sick dog appears in a dream as the brain processes an encounter with an unpredictable threat. This image serves to rehearse the feeling of being vulnerable to a source of loyalty that has turned into a source of danger. The dream works to sort through the tension between what is known to be reliable and what has become fundamentally unstable.
The presence of a sick dog indicates a breakdown in a way that usually provides security. This instability makes it hard to trust things that used to be dependable, as the known environment starts to feel uncertain. A feeling of unease remains, but the dream also shows the mind identifying the shift as it happens. The mind is already working to integrate this new information.
When a dog with rabies or rabid dogs appear in a dream, the meaning moves from simple instability to a state of pure, unreasoning malice. This change indicates that the danger is no longer a matter of brokenness, but has become a force of pure destruction.
A dog having a seizure in a dream shifts the focus toward a sudden loss of control over one’s own faculties. The dreamer faces a disorientation where the familiar has suddenly become chaotic and unmanageable.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
