Owen SterlingA tank appears in a dream as a representation of an unyielding force that moves through the psyche with blunt authority. The brain uses such a heavy image to process the presence of a pressure that does not bend or negotiate, acting as a mechanism to identify where a certain momentum is currently overriding more delicate structures of thought.
The dreamer encounters this symbol when the mind is attempting to categorize a situation where power is being applied without subtlety. This process of sorting often brings to light the way an external or internal influence is currently operating. While this force can feel overwhelming, the dream provides a way to recognize the exact nature of the impact. It allows for a clearer view of where the boundary of this influence lies.
When the dream involves driving a tank, the dreamer is no longer a witness to the force but the one directing it. This shift in the dream changes the verdict from a passive encounter with authority to an active engagement with a blunt and heavy momentum.
Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
