Owen SterlingA war zone appears in a dream when the mind is sorting through discord or affairs that remain unsettled. This image appears when the brain is working through tensions that have not yet reached a resolution, forcing the sorting of the friction of conflicting interests or unresolved circumstances.
The presence of such a dream indicates that the psychological terrain is currently defined by struggle. This state of unrest is the mechanism by which the mind acknowledges that certain conflicts are still active and require attention. Instability is the natural result of this processing. The dream offers the clarity that these tensions are recognized.
The dreamer finds a way of escaping a war zone when the dream shifts from mere observation to the rehearsal of movement. This action suggests that the mind is already testing the possibility of leaving the discord behind, which transforms the dream from a report of conflict into a process of seeking distance.
Being in a war zone establishes the baseline of the dream by placing the dreamer directly within the field of ongoing friction. This placement confirms that the unsettled matters are currently central to the dreamer’s immediate experience.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
