Owen SterlingA worm parasite in a dream shows the mind noticing how something is slowly eating away at internal strength. This image shows a process of internal wearing away, where the brain detects that something is slowly consuming the energy intended for the self. The dream serves to map the location of a depletion that the dreamer may feel but has not yet fully categorized.
The presence of such a symbol indicates that the sorting process is currently focused on what is being taken rather than what is being built. This focus on loss makes the dreamer notice how their own vitality is being chipped away. However, the recognition of this intrusion is the first step toward reclaiming the energy that is being lost. The dream provides the clarity necessary to see where the vitality is leaking.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
