Owen SterlingAn asteroid appears in a dream as a sign of news arriving from a great distance or the possibility of a sudden upheaval. This image arises when the mind encounters something vast and remote that is entering the field of what is known. This mechanism serves to prepare the mind for an event that cannot be controlled or predicted by the person who saw the dream.
The impact of such an event is often felt as a disruption to established patterns. When the mind rehearses these sudden shifts, it is attempting to integrate the concept of a change that arrives from outside the immediate environment. A dream of this kind carries the weight of an approaching reality that is both indifferent and inevitable. The arrival of unexpected information provides a way for the psyche to brace itself for a new state of being. There is a clarity in recognizing the scale of what is approaching.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
