Owen SterlingAn electric shock in a dream is a sudden, sharp jolt that the mind uses to demand immediate attention. This jolt acts to pull the consciousness away from a state of drifting or mindless habit.
The intensity of the impact determines the nature of the correction. A dream of this kind points toward a moment where a mental or emotional inertia is being forcefully broken. There is a capacity for this suddenness to feel like a disruption that leaves the dreamer feeling unsettled.
The mechanism of the shock provides a way for the mind to test its own responsiveness to sudden change. This process leaves room for a clearer awareness of what has been overlooked.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
