Being lost in a building in a dream is how the mind works through the many moving parts of a current worldly situation. When the mind moves through an environment where the exits or the purpose of the rooms are unclear, it is often rehearsing the sensation of moving through a social or professional life that lacks a recognizable pattern.
The dream works to test how a person handles the disorientation that comes from a lack of clarity in their daily affairs. This process of mental sorting can feel like a struggle against a lack of stability. The disorientation shows how the dreamer experiences a temporary absence of a clear path. Finding a way through the confusion is a capacity that the mind is currently refining.
The scale of a large building in a dream increases the sense of the task at hand, as the sheer volume of the space suggests that the situation being mapped is vast and has many different layers. This expansion of the setting makes the feeling of being without a guide more pronounced because the complexity of the environment outweighs the immediate resources available for navigation.
For its more general meaning: Dream about a building
I have a repetitive dream where I’m lost in a huge one floor building in Vancouver BC. In the dream there are many super dysfunctional people, drug addicts, sex addicts, people who can’t help and want what you have, phones don’t work, I can’t recall phone #s. I start out with my purse, my shoes, and end up with nothing and no way out! Sometimes I get out of the building only to not know where I am, I have no money to get anywhere, and can’t recall any addresses when trying to ask for help!
Dear Reader,
Your dream is a clue for success, clarity and good things. This dream denotes you may be showing off too much or are overly arrogant with your success and achievements. All your current worries will be cleared up through the help of a friend. You have good friends, but sometimes you forget.
