Owen SterlingBeing trapped under ice in a dream indicates a period where emotional or mental processes have reached a state of stasis. This imagery shows how a sudden lack of warmth in circumstances has halted the natural movement of thought or feeling. This stagnation occurs when the person finds themselves unable to act or to voice what is happening under the surface.
The presence of this barrier suggests that the consolidation of recent experiences is being met with a resistance that prevents integration. This frozen state is a pause in how the mind sorts through recent events. The dream points to a stillness that allows for an observation of what lies beneath the surface.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
