Owen SterlingBuying rice occurs when the mind is processing the relationship between effort and the resulting stability of one’s life. The act of acquiring this grain serves to solidify the feeling that one’s foundations are firm. The brain uses this image to sort through the ways that honest labor produces a reliable life.
The dream points toward a period where the dreamer finds a way to turn energy into a tangible foundation. While the process of gathering these resources can sometimes feel like a repetitive or taxing necessity, the underlying movement is one of accumulation. An actual feeling of having enough grows from the knowledge of what has been earned.
Buying cooked rice shifts the focus from the process of gathering to the immediate presence of a realized benefit. The dreamer finds that the nourishment is already available, meaning the effort to secure it is behind them. The readiness of the food suggests that the labor has already yielded its fruit.
Buying raw rice indicates a focus on the long-term preservation of what is earned. The mind is preoccupied with the act of hoarding and protecting potential for later use. This dream centers on the preparation of a storehouse, where the work is directed toward what will be needed in the time to come.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
