Owen SterlingCatching a bat in a dream involves the brain attempting to grasp an aspect of a situation that remains obscured or misunderstood. Reaching for what cannot be seen is the mind’s way of trying to find a truth or a danger that has stayed hidden.
The act of pursuit suggests that the mind is actively trying to bring a hidden complication into the light of understanding. When the dreamer succeeds in this capture, they face an uncertainty that has been avoided. This confrontation carries the weight of facing a reality that is not yet fully clear. The dreamer finds that once the object of confusion is caught, the uncertainty loses its power to roam freely.
Holding a bat in a dream shifts the meaning from a pursuit to a state of possession, where the dreamer has already secured the source of their confusion. This stability provides a firmer ground for evaluating what was previously unknown.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
