Owen SterlingClimbing a building in a dream is how the mind sorts through the ways a person moves within their own worldly affairs. This movement through a constructed space is a rehearsal for the effort required to rise over the barriers that human systems create.
The dream points to the way an individual manages the tension between their current position and the heights they seek to attain. The process of moving upward through these layers is a way for the mind to map out the exertion required to change one’s standing. Instability arises if the ascent feels precarious, as the dream tests the capacity to maintain balance while advancing. This tension allows for a clearer view of the actual cost of progress.
Scaling a building or climbing a tall building adds a vertical scale to the dream that shifts the focus toward a desire for advancement. The increased height signifies that the effort being rehearsed is directed at a significant change in rank or status.
Climbing down a building changes the direction of the movement to show how the mind handles a step back from a certain level. This shift in the dream indicates that the mind is processing a transition away from a certain level of responsibility or social standing.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
