Owen SterlingCrossing a stream in a dream involves the brain processing a transition between two distinct phases of an ongoing situation. This movement marks the work of moving through a change in the current course of life.
The mind uses this image to rehearse the way one moves from a known state to an unfamiliar one. Obstacles may appear if the way forward is not easy to see. A dreamer may feel the weight of the obstacle if the crossing is difficult. The dream provides a space to prepare for the necessary shifts that the recent days have initiated.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
