Owen SterlingEating a lizard in a dream is how the mind works through a small, hidden malice that has been felt or seen. This consumption is the brain taking a threat that operates through minor, stealthy means and making it part of the internal self. By incorporating the source of malice into the self, the dreamer moves from being a target of deceit to a person who has accounted for it.
The presence of such a small and deceptive figure suggests that the tension being resolved is not a grand conflict, but rather a series of minor, perhaps overlooked, irritations or dishonesties. This dream allows the dreamer to swallow the unpleasantness of these social or personal frictions so they no longer act as outside forces. While the realization of being deceived carries a weight of discomfort, the act of consumption indicates that the dreamer is already reclaiming their agency. The psychological material is being neutralized through this internal assimilation.
