Owen SterlingFeeding a monkey in a dream is a sign that the mind is currently preoccupied with a source of erratic distraction or a deceptive influence. This process of the sleeping brain suggests an attempt to manage or satisfy a part of the psyche that behaves with unpredictability and mischief. Such a dream often points to the way a person might be investing energy into something that offers little stability and instead provides only momentary, often dishonest, amusement.
The dreamer may find that this tendency to cater to impulse or to engage with something untrustworthy is a way of avoiding more substantive matters. This tendency brings the risk of being worn down by constant, petty disruptions or by an adversary who acts without regard for fairness. There is a risk of wasting resources on a pursuit that is inherently mocking or hollow.
The dream leaves room for the recognition of these disruptions before they become too deeply ingrained. Understanding the nature of the distraction allows for a more disciplined allocation of attention.
The plurality of feeding monkeys in a dream increases the scale of the distraction, suggesting that the sense of being pulled away by multiple, scattered impulses is more pervasive.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
