Fighting a ghost in a dream is the mind trying to work through a memory or an event that remains unfinished. This process occurs when the brain tries to process an unresolved tension by turning it into a confrontation, making the internal struggle visible through the act of combat.
The dreamer engages with a remnant of what has already passed to find a way to move forward. This struggle is the mechanism of closure, where the energy spent in the dream serves to exhaust the influence of an old weight. Such a dream marks the transition from being haunted by an event to actively managing its remains.
The presence of multiple entities in the dream shifts the focus from a specific event to a broader pattern of unresolved history. When fighting ghosts becomes a recurring or plural experience, it suggests that the mind is performing a widespread clearing of various old anxieties rather than addressing a single point of tension.
For its more general meaning: Dream about a ghost
Hi,
I dreamed I came upon my old apartment and I was on the outside with 2 others and as I looked in the window I saw a ghost sitting in my closet and I asked what are you doing here?? The ghost let out a long laugh and dissappered. In the dreamed I was not frightened. It also seemed as if the ghost was a lady.
Dear Reader,
Your dream is sometimes childhood, focus and confrontation. This dream signals you may be regressing to childhood needs. You are lacking focus or that you are feeling detached from a situation. You are ready to confront issues and emotions which you have suppressed.
