Owen SterlingFinding treasure occurs when the brain processes the discovery of something of significant internal value or a sudden insight that clarifies a complex situation. The mind uses this image to identify an unexpected gain or a deep understanding that has emerged from recent mental sorting.
The dream points toward the presence of a resource that is already available to the dreamer. Sudden clarity marks the moment when an obscure concept becomes easy to grasp.
The dreamer might feel a weight of responsibility to guard or use this new realization. However, the dream simply reports the arrival of the insight. The mind is currently finding its way to a state of increased competence or awareness.
Gold treasure changes the nature of the discovery by adding a layer of high perceived worth to the insight. This quality intensifies the main meaning, suggesting that the learning or gain being processed is of a particularly transformative or precious character.
Finding buried treasure, finding hidden treasure, and finding hidden treasure all describe the same process of uncovering something that was previously obscured from the conscious mind. These dreams add the detail of retrieval to the main dream, showing that the value is not something new being created, but something that was already there, waiting to be brought to light through the work of the sleeping brain.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
