Owen SterlingGetting a nose piercing in a dream involves the brain processing a desire for a new way of presenting a self to the world. This mental sorting uses the image of a permanent change to test how the dreamer might handle a more visible or assertive identity. Selecting a new ornament shows how the mind prepares to manage a different social presence.
The dream rehearses the bravery needed to bear a mark of distinction. If the prospect of such a change feels daunting, the dreamer experiences a pull between the urge for self-expression and the instinct for safety. This tension is a natural part of integrating new aspects of personality. The mind uses this imagery to settle the weight of making a choice that cannot be easily undone.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
