Owen SterlingGrowing a garden in a dream shows the mind working through the welfare of a family and the results of what has been done. This mental activity serves to organize the various efforts being directed toward the stability of a domestic or social life.
The dreamer uses the night to look over the energy being put into these foundations. While tending to such matters can feel demanding, it is an active way of managing what has been built. The dreamer finds that the labor of the night is a way of assessing the health of their own progress.
Planting a garden in a dream shifts the focus toward the initiation of new ventures or the setting of intentions for future stability. This act indicates that the mind is currently preparing the ground for upcoming developments in the area of family or personal affairs.
Digging a garden or digging in the garden involves a process of searching through deeper, perhaps previously ignored, layers of one’s own history or affairs. This activity shows the mind attempting to uncover the roots of current situations to better understand the foundation of what is being grown.
Watering a garden in a dream adds a quality of nourishment to the overarching theme of welfare. It suggests that the current management of these affairs is being handled with a necessary and sustaining care.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
