Owen SterlingHiding in a secret room in a dream involves the brain attempting to establish a boundary between the self and the external environment. This process serves to protect the current state of personal affairs by creating a mental space where internal matters are not subject to the influence or judgment of others.
The dream works to regulate the weight of being observed. By withdrawing into a private area, the mind rehearses the act of maintaining a distinction between what is known to the individual and what is shared with the world. This withdrawal can bring about a period where movement in one’s life is stalled. However, the dream also confirms that a person possesses the internal capacity to find sanctuary when the surrounding circumstances become too demanding.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
