Owen SterlingKilling a monitor lizard in a dream is the mind working to end a threat that stays hidden and waits. This process serves to neutralize a source of hostility that does not strike with sudden force but instead relies on a slow, calculated presence. The dreamer is engaged in the active removal of a tension that has been allowed to linger in the periphery of consciousness.
Ending the life of the animal in the dream stops a resentment that waits for the right moment to act. By removing the creature, the mind works to close a chapter of wary observation. This movement provides a way to settle a lingering sense of being watched or waited upon. The dreamer finds a way to reclaim a space that was previously occupied by a silent, predatory pressure.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
