Owen SterlingMeeting an alien in a dream is the brain encountering something entirely foreign. This mechanism serves to test the dreamer’s ability to navigate a situation that lacks any known precedent or familiar logic.
The sudden terror that such an encounter can provoke prepares the mind for the unpredictable. When the mind encounters the unknown in this way, it is often attempting to integrate a concept or a change that feels fundamentally outside of previous experience. Displacement occurs if the dream focuses on the loss of a familiar place. The capacity to process the strange shows that the dreamer possesses internal flexibility.
Talking to aliens in a dream shifts the meaning from mere encounter to a state of active engagement. This dialogue suggests that the unknown is being approached through a process of attempt at comprehension, which turns the initial shock into a movement toward understanding.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
