Owen SterlingThe number 12 in a dream signals that the mind is closing a cycle that has reached its end. This symbol works to settle accounts, where the brain weighs what has been done against what remains to be finished.
The sorting process focuses on the transition between one phase and the next. This movement through a completed sequence brings order to recent experiences. A feeling of being held by a strict or unyielding schedule can arise when the mind is preoccupied with these temporal boundaries. The dream shows a pattern that is now finished.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
