Owen SterlingReversing a car in a dream involves the brain processing a movement toward the past or a reconsideration of previous decisions. This mental rehearsal serves to examine how much of a current course of affairs can be corrected by looking at where the path began.
The dream often points to an attempt at undoing steps already taken to resolve an unsettled matter. A person may find that this mental backward motion is a way to navigate through recent complications by returning to a more stable or known foundation.
A car driving backwards or backing up a car indicates a specific effort to retreat from a current direction in order to find a better position. This movement suggests that the dreamer is actively seeking to retrace their way to a point of greater certainty.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
