Dream about seeds

Seeds are the concentrated points of what the mind gathers and organizes for a later period of use. This dream is a way for the sleeping brain to sort the small, essential parts of a life that are being held in readiness for a future harvest.

The dream points to the way a person manages the raw materials of their current circumstances. Preparing for what might come is the background, but the focus remains on the containment and the preservation of these fundamental units. The dreamer finds themselves in a state of looking toward what can be built from what is already held.

When a dream involves eating seeds, the focus shifts from preservation to a premature consumption of the very things meant for growth. This action suggests that the potential for a future result is being used up in the present, leaving nothing to be developed later.

The act of collecting seeds shows a mind that is currently busy bringing together the various pieces of a life. This dream reveals a stage where things are being pulled into a single place before they are ever used.

The process of planting a seed or seeing seeds sprouting moves the dream from mere possession to the active commencement of a new direction. These images indicate that the transition from preparation to action is occurring, as the potential is finally being committed to a process of development.
