Owen SterlingSelling a house in a dream is the surrendering of a foundation to move on. The brain uses this image to rehearse the psychological transition that occurs when a person prepares to leave a long-held way of life behind. This movement involves the release of established structures to make space for a different mode of existence.
The dreamer experiences the shedding of a previous identity as the mind sorts through what is no longer needed for the next stage of life. Loss arrives when the ties to what was are cut. This dream indicates that the capacity to let go is currently being processed.
An old house being sold in a dream deepens the sense of finishing a long period of personal history. The presence of age in the structure means that the dreamer is letting go of a version of themselves that has been built up over a vast stretch of time.
The dream of transferring a house or seeing a house for sale shifts the focus toward the mechanics of change. These states suggest that the transition is already in motion or being formally organized, which moves the meaning from a mere possibility to an active reorganization of one’s stability.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
