Owen SterlingSquatters appear in a dream when the mind is processing a perceived loss of boundary or an intrusion upon personal mental or emotional space. This imagery arises as the mind attempts to label a feeling of being encroached upon, marking the moment when internal or external pressures begin to crowd out a person’s sense of self.
The presence of such figures suggests that the dreamer is currently navigating an area of life where the distinction between what belongs to them and what belongs to others has become blurred. This sorting reveals a struggle to hold onto one’s own territory, whether that territory is a physical space, a social role, or an internal sense of peace. The dream shows a point of friction where the dreamer’s rightful standing is being challenged.
The feeling of being displaced can be unsettling, as it points to a lack of security in one’s own domain. Identifying exactly where the intrusion is occurring offers a way to see the problem plainly.
Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
