Owen SterlingStepping in poop is a dream where the mind processes a sudden contact with worldly or material gains that are perceived as distasteful. The brain uses this image to practice facing something that feels base or morally questionable. This dream brings an unexpected encounter with wealth or success that carries a feeling of being unclean.
Being marked by these circumstances happens when the dreamer meets such material. Navigating the unrefined parts of life or livelihood is what this symbol suggests. Such a dream leaves room for the recognition that material existence often involves dealing with the unlovely.
The state of being immersed in or falling into the material suggests a much deeper level of involvement with these difficult gains. This increases the weight of the dream by moving from a passing contact to a situation of being surrounded or overtaken by the very things that are being processed.
The presence of a human in the dream changes the nature of the contact by introducing a social dimension to the material gain. This detail shifts the focus toward how fellowship or conflict with others is tied to these messy exchanges.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
