Swallowing in a dream is a mechanism of integration where the mind processes an external influence or a new reality by incorporating it into the self. This action serves to test how much of a recent experience or a specific piece of information can be assimilated without disrupting the internal balance. The brain uses this process to determine if what is being presented can be fully digested and made part of the dreamer’s existing framework.
Successful swallowing shows that new insights or circumstances are being absorbed into the self. This movement suggests that the dreamer is finding ways to manage what has been encountered. Certain elements may prove too difficult to accept, which creates the possibility of being overcome by the weight of what is being presented. The ability to incorporate these experiences allows for a more stable continuity of the self.
A baby I pick up is swallowing it’s own tongue. It’s someone else’s baby (possibly one of my neices twins but younger 3 months old?) and we are in a large hall/exhibition space. I’m not sure if it’s my fault and I don’t realise at first. I start to wake up as I realise what has happened and want to help, but I’m too far away and can hear the mother and others rush around trying to get help. I wake up hearing their feet.
Your journey continues here,
Your dream is an evidence for value, revelation and people. This dream signifies that you will value more a person you miss and with whom you have long lost contact. You are about to reveal something that you had previously kept to yourself. Someone want to help you work through your problems.
May the clarity of this dream shine light on others.
