Owen SterlingThe universe appears in a dream as the mind attempts to organize the scale of a person’s place within the world. This symbol functions to process the weight of potential and the breadth of what a life might encompass.
A dream of the universe serves to consolidate the sense of one’s own significance and the trajectory of a life. The brain uses this vastness to rehearse the feeling of standing before a great destiny or a wide field of possibility. This weight of what is ahead can feel heavy. The mind finds stability in recognizing the scope of its own existence.
The presence of an alternate universe in a dream introduces a divergence that shifts the focus from destiny to the testing of different paths. This detail allows the brain to weigh the reality of the current situation against the weight of a different life. It provides a way to weigh the reality of the current situation against what might have been.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
