Owen SterlingThrowing up worms is a dream of the brain attempting to expel a presence that has become internal and corrosive. The mind is working to cast out something small and persistent that has started to eat away at what is true and solid.
The dream works to distance the person from a source of corruption that was previously swallowed or accepted. By forcing this material out, the subconscious identifies a need to purge what is no longer sustainable or honest. The presence of such a parasite signifies a state where something small and persistent has undermined the foundation of a situation. This movement toward expulsion provides a way to acknowledge what is being lost or discarded. The dreamer is currently in a state of reclaiming their own boundaries.
Vomiting, puking, or coughing up worms intensifies the dream by showing that the rejection of this decay is a violent and involuntary physiological necessity. This surge of sickness shows that the brain is struggling against a presence that will no longer be contained.
Spitting out small worms from water shifts the focus toward the source of the trouble, suggesting that a vital element of livelihood or emotional life has become tainted. When the worms emerge from water, the dream reveals that the very thing meant to sustain the person has become a carrier for something that diminishes them.
Spitting out worms focuses the dream on the specific act of removal, which serves to purge the mouth of what is unwanted.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
