Owen SterlingWatching a flood in a dream is a way for the mind to process the sensation of being powerless against an encroaching force. This image appears when the brain attempts to organize the experience of an external pressure that feels too large to be managed by individual effort.
The dream presents a situation where the scale of a situation has exceeded the capacity of the dreamer to contain or control it. This process of mental sorting reveals a recognition of a situation that is currently overwhelming.
Seeing this suggests that the dreamer is currently navigating a time when things feel unstable. This realization allows for a clearer understanding of where boundaries have failed. The mind is simply preparing for the arrival of a change that cannot be stopped.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
