Owen SterlingWinning a battle in a dream occurs when the mind works through recent friction and active contention. This process sorts through the pressure of disagreement to help the mind recognize its own ability to act.
The brain uses this imagery to test the capacity for navigating conflict and asserting a particular direction. Such a dream signals that the psychic energy used in recent struggles is being converted into a stable sense of competence. The dreamer finds that the mechanisms for handling opposition are becoming more efficient.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
