Owen SterlingCollecting coins occurs when the mind is occupied with the accumulation of minor details or the processing of small, incremental matters. The brain gathers these varied fragments because they currently demand attention.
The brain uses this process to organize the fragmented pieces of daily life into a coherent whole. This sorting can lead to a preoccupation with trivialities that may obscure a larger perspective. Many small obligations weigh on the sleeper when these minor matters begin to pile up. The consolidation of these pieces provides a way to manage the immediate environment.
Silver coins in a dream of collecting silver coins introduce a quality of clarity to the bits of value being gathered. The shine of these pieces indicates that the minor matters being sorted are recognized for their true worth.
Picking coins on the ground or collecting coins from the ground places the focus on the most basic, worldly level of these small matters. The dreamer encounters these tokens within the immediate, physical reality of their current circumstances.
Picking up lots of coins shows that the volume of these trivialities is expanding. The sheer quantity of items being gathered indicates that a multitude of little anxieties is starting to occupy a significant amount of mental space.
A person picking up coins in a dream discovers a single, helpful trifle. This specific action indicates a moment where a small, useful detail is identified amidst the general sorting of the day.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
