Owen SterlingGetting promoted in a dream is the mind working through a change in social or professional standing. This mechanism occurs when the mind rehearses the psychological adjustments required to occupy a larger space within a structure. The dream allows for a practice run in navigating the new boundaries and expectations that follow an increase in responsibility.
The dreamer finds that an elevation in status brings a change in how they are perceived by the surrounding environment. This process of reassessing one’s position can lead to a feeling of being under scrutiny as the new role is integrated. The capacity to hold a more significant place is already being developed through this mental rehearsal. The expansion of the self’s territory is a sign of internal readiness.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
