Owen SterlingLightning striking a tree occurs as a sudden disruption in the processing of long-term stability and heritage. The brain uses this image to rehearse how a sharp realization or sudden news might strike at the roots of a person’s livelihood and ancestry.
The impact of such a strike often forces a reassessment of what is considered permanent or secure. Instability follows when the things that support a life are met with a force they cannot absorb. This dream provides a way for the mind to rehearse the shock of sudden change. The clarity that follows the flash allows for a more honest view of what remains standing.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
