Owen SterlingLightning appears in a dream as a sudden, sharp break in the continuity of thought. This phenomenon serves to deliver an abrupt piece of information or a realization that the mind is not prepared to process through gradual thought.
The brain uses such a shock to force an immediate confrontation with a truth that has been bypassed. This suddenness can leave a person feeling unsettled by the speed of the change. However, the dream provides a way to integrate this impact, offering a moment where the clarity of the event allows for a new perspective to take hold.
The dreamer’s experience of running away from lightning suggests a desire to avoid a truth that is currently perceived as threatening. This movement shows that the mind is still attempting to protect itself from a sudden shift in understanding.
The dream of being struck by lightning shows a person completely overwhelmed by an insight that demands total attention. This force is used by the sleep process to ensure that the new information cannot be ignored or pushed aside.
In the dream of lightning striking a tree, the shock hits the structures of ancestry or the ways a person makes a living. The impact is a sign that a sudden change is affecting the very foundations of how a person sustains themselves.
The dream of lightning striking the ground finds the dreamer witnessing a sudden blow to the stability of their worldly position. This strike hits the very floor of existence, making the foundation of daily life feel unsteady.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
