Owen SterlingPicking cherries in a dream is the brain gathering brief moments of joy or the sorting of pleasant, passing words. This sorting of small, sweet successes serves to consolidate the immediate rewards that have occurred in the recent waking life of the dreamer.
The act of gathering these instances allows for the recognition of what brings a quick sense of satisfaction. These small joys appear in the dream because they are passing, arriving and leaving as quickly as they are found. A lightness stays when these brief satisfactions are acknowledged.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
