Owen SterlingRunning away from lightning occurs when the mind attempts to distance itself from an abrupt realization or a piece of information that demands immediate attention. The brain uses the image of flight to simulate the tension of facing something that arrives without warning.
The movement away from the flash indicates a resistance to a truth that is currently too sharp to be integrated. This avoidance suggests that the dreamer is in a phase of postponing a necessary confrontation with an external reality. There is a weight in the way the mind treats these sudden bursts of clarity as threats to be outrun. The dream offers a way to feel the shock of the news without being struck by it.

Owen SterlingInterpreter interprets your dreams
Many people believe a frightening dream announces something, when more often the brain was simply sorting the days just before it. During the night the mind files what was carried over from recent hours, and what gets filed loudest is what was felt most. A rough night leaves a residue by morning that fades with daylight. Nothing was sent. The sleeper was working, and the work is done.
