I dreamt on 2 seperate occasions that an old pet cat I used to have, had suddenly appeared in my home, some 2 years after she left for another home. First time, she was on my lap, but looking much younger. The second time, she was hiding behind a curtain in a large window, in a home I had never been in. On this occasion, I had a neighbours cat come into my home for some food, yet my former cat did not like this & chased her out of my home., then left herself. Having these 2 dreams about my former pet has had me try to work out what this means. In the second dream, my pet cat was as I remember her. She was 23 years old, but still very agile.

I have dreamt of my brother holding a dirty black cat and petting him. She looked dead but was alive he kept playing with her and throwing her around and she gave no reactions nd finally taking her into his arms and kissing her fur covered in dirt.
